Focus on improving your fitness, strength – and preventing injury – it’s time to cross-train! 

About August XT Challenge

Cross-training benefits runners in a big way…it improves your overall fitness, strength, and endurance, and can help you avoid injury.  Let’s make it a part of our routine – complete two (2) cross-training activities of at least 30 minutes each this week to earn the August XT Badge, and get you on your way!

Date: 04 – 08 August    Conditions: 

  • Complete two (2) cross-training activities (non-running) of at least 30 minutes each during the challenge date window. 
  • The challenge is open 04 August 00:00am through 08 August 11:59pm your local time. 
  • Only recorded activities will be applied to this challenge. Steps will not count towards this challenge.   
  • Your activity must be a tracked activity (manual entries will not be accepted). You may connect a tracking device, or app, or use the app to record your activity.   
  • Visit the Knowledgebase for assistance in connecting your tracking device or app.   
  • Activities logged for another virtual run or race during this time can be used to complete the challenge (just ensure your device is synced to your Global Run Club account).  
  • Participants must be aged 18 years and above to register for the challenge.
