About "March" Up Tokyo Tower Elevation Challenge
The Tokyo Tower is one of the iconic landmarks along this month’s Tokyo Marathon course. It stands at 333 meters (1093 feet), and is the second tallest building in Japan. Take on this elevation challenge and reach a total of 333 meters in elevation gain in as many activities as you would like to earn your first elevation badge while paying homage to the Tokyo Marathon.
Join event
Date: 01 March – 31 March
Conditions:
- Reach an elevation gain of 333 meters (1093 feet) during the month of March in any intervals you choose.
- The challenge window begins on 00:00am March 1 and ends 11:59pm local time March 31.
- Elevation will only be counted when logged as an activity. Steps will not count towards this challenge.
- Your activity must be a tracked activity (manual entries will not be accepted). You may connect a tracking device, or app, or use the app to record your activity.
- Visit the Knowledgebase for assistance in connecting your tracking device or app.
- The Following devices does not register elevation
- Global Run Club App
- Google Health Connect
- Samsung Watch
- Miles logged for another virtual run or race during this time can be used to complete the challenge (just ensure your device is synced to your Global Run Club account).
- Participants must be aged 18 years and above to register for the challenge.
